Creating a compelling product concept and its accompanying packaging prototype to commemorate the World Design Capital of 2024 in San Diego and Tijuana. This design should encapsulate the unique qualities of our region, inspiring a sense of cultural exchange, unity, and celebration for both San Diego and Tijuana. I decided to create a company named BR/DG that uses second-hand or recycled clothing as a canvas to promote unity within the cultures of this cross border region. In my design, I decided to embellish a suit by adding patterned fabric to embody Tijuana and the Mexican Culture. The fabric also has dream catchers to represent how this land used to be home to the Kumeyaay tribe.  The addition of tassels was a way to pay homage to Mexican ponchos. The pants also convert into shorts to embody the business casual aesthetic of San Diego.
